What states require a hair braiding license

Illinois – 300 hours Website
Louisiana – 1000 hours Website
Michigan – 400 hours
Minnesota – Mandatory safety and sanitation hours required
Mississippi – Braiders are now simply required to pay a $25 registration fee with the Board of Health, post basic health and sanitation guidelines at their places of business, and complete a self-test on that information Website 
New York – 300 hours Website 
North Carolina –300 hours Website
Pennsylvania – 300 hours
South Carolina – Braiding is under Barbering, only 6 hours of safety and sanitation required.
